General Hotel Management says goodbye to its executive VP

SINGAPORE – Mr. Ralf Ohletz, executive vice president for GHM (General Hotel Management) has resigned so that he may take on the position of president of Regent Hotels.

SINGAPORE – Mr. Ralf Ohletz, executive vice president for GHM (General Hotel Management) has resigned so that he may take on the position of president of Regent Hotels.

“Ralf Ohletz has played an integral part in contributing to GHM’s enviable reputation as the global trendsetter for the hotel industry since the group was founded in 1992,” said Hans Jenni, president and director of GHM, an Asian-based luxury hotel and resort operator.

“I congratulate him on this prestigious appointment and would like to say that based on his outstanding contribution to GHM over the years, I am confident in his ability to return the Regent brand to its former glory,“ said Hans Jenni. “I wish him every success.”

Ralf Ohletz attended the School of Hotel Administration in Heidelberg, Germany, before launching his hotel career at the London Hilton. Before joining GHM, he also subsequently worked at some of the world’s leading hotels including The Oriental Singapore, The Mandarin Hong Kong, and The Pierre in New York.
