China Eastern Airlines said its controlling shareholder China Eastern Air Holding Company and CES Finance Holding Co. Ltd. agreed to inject a total of Rmb 1,500 million into Eastern Air Group Finance Company Limited.
1 million RMB equals approximately US$160,000.
CEA Holding will contribute a pro-rata amount of Rmb 806.25 million (USD 129 Million) in cash; China, Eastern Airlines will contribute a pro-rata amount of Rmb375 million in cash; and CES Finance will contribute a pro-rata amount of Rmb318.75 million in cash.
Upon completion, the respective equity interest held by CEA Holding, China Eastern Airlines and CES Finance in the then enlarged registered capital of Eastern Air Finance Company will remain unchanged at 53.75%, 25% and 21.25% respectively.
Eastern Air Finance Company is principally engaged in deposit, lending and settlement business among member enterprises.
