Air connectivity to and from India has been seeing an upswing in recent times.

This is set to get a further boost beginning on March 20, when low-cost carrier IndiGo will start a  non-stop flight between Delhi and Istanbul in Turkey.

The daily flight will be operated by an A321neo. For IndiGo, it will be the airline’s 16th international destination.

This will be the first Indian carrier to link the two nations.

Turkish Airlines has flights to and from Delhi and Mumbai.
