SriLankan Airlines announces more service for summer and fall

SriLankan Airlines announced it is increasing its seasonal summer operational service to Dhaka, Bangladesh, by way of replacing the use of an A320/321 for this route with the bigger A330.

SriLankan Airlines announced it is increasing its seasonal summer operational service to Dhaka, Bangladesh, by way of replacing the use of an A320/321 for this route with the bigger A330. This once-daily flight change will take effect on April 7 of this year.


Dhaka is the capital city of Bangladesh, and is located beside the Buriganga River at the center of national government, trade, and culture. It is a huge and fast-growing modern metropolis mixing modern architecture, such as American architect Louis Khan’s National Parliament House complex, with 17th-century palaces and mosques.

SriLankan Airlines also announced it is increasing its Colombo-Gan Island air service from 4 to 6 weekly flights. This new flight schedule will go into effect beginning September 17, 2017.
