BANGKOK – Bangkok Airways (PG) will reduce around 10 percent more on fuel surcharge tariff on its domestic flights and up to 30 percent on international flights to align with the fall of the world

BANGKOK – Bangkok Airways (PG) will reduce around 10 percent more on fuel surcharge tariff on its domestic flights and up to 30 percent on international flights to align with the fall of the world’s fuel price and to encourage travelers during the high-season period, effective from November 8, 2008 onwards.

The charge for domestic flights between Bangkok-Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Samui, and between Pattaya (Utapao)-Phuket, Samui, and between Chiang Mai-Samui will be reduced to US$20 per sector (from US$25). And the charge for international flights between Thailand-Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam will be US$25 per sector (from US$40), for Bangkok-Guilin it will be US$40 per sector (from US$50), for Bangkok-Xi’an it will be US$60 per sector (from US$75), for Samui-Singapore it will be US$45 per sector (from US$60), for Bangkok-Maldives it will be US$90 per sector (from US$100), and for Bangkok-Japan it will be US$95 per sector (from US$110).

Also effective on the same date, Siem Reap Airways International (FT) will apply a reduced fuel surcharge rate of US$20 (from US$25) to its domestic flights and a reduced rate of US$25 (from US$40) to its international flights between Cambodia and Thailand, Laos, Vietnam.
