Data recently released by the National Travel and Tourism Office (NTTO) show that in April 2023, US-international air traffic passenger enplanements1 totaled 19.823 million – up 28.3% compared to April 2022, with enplanements reaching 94.1% of pre-pandemic April 2019 volume.

• Total air passenger travel (arrivals and departures) between the United States and other countries were led by ميڪسيڪو 3.214 million, Canada 2.487 million, the United Kingdom 1.677 million, the Dominican Republic 878,000 and Germany 813,000.

- Asia totaled 1.898 million passengers, up 181.3% over April 2022, but still down (-36.2%) compared to April 2019.
• Top U.S. ports serving international locations were New York (JFK) 2.806 million, Miami (MIA) 1.832 million, Los Angeles (LAX) 1.780 million, Newark (EWR) 1.223 million and San Francisco (SFO) 1.106 million.
• Top foreign ports serving U.S. locations were London Heathrow (LHR) 1.481 million, Cancun (CUN) 1.090 million, Toronto (YYZ) 1.052 million, Paris (CGD) 634,000 and Mexico City (MEX) 619,000.
